U.S. Coast to Coast Championship Series

New this year is the U.S. Coast to Coast Championship Series which will open at the 2010 Long Beach Internationals, in Long Beach, California and continue at The International Martial Arts Festival to be held at Walt Disney Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on October 29 – 31, 2010.

The four Grand Champions at the Long Beach Internationals will come from these divisions, youth weapons and youth forms and adult weapons and adult forms. Win one of the four overall Grand Champion titles at the Long Beach Internationals and you get to go to Florida and compete. Win one of the four overall Grand Champion titles again in Florida and you become a Back to Back Grand Champion of the U.S. Coast to Coast Championships Series.

Along with other prizes, the four overall Grand Champions will receive 2 nights hotel accommodations in Florida at the International Martial Arts Festival. The 4 overall Grand Champions from the Florida event will receive 2 nights hotel accommodations in Long Beach for the 2011 Long Beach Internationals. The Back to Back Grand Champions win cash and prizes and a place in the new USADOJO.COM Sport Martial Arts Academy of Honors which will include video of their performance, and biographies and photos of the competitors!

USADOJO.COM’s Ultimate Demo Team Challenge 2010

This year, USADOJO.COM will sponsor the first ever USADOJO.COM Ultimate Demo Team Challenge which will take place on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Long Beach Internationals. Of course there will be trophies and cash, but the Elite winners and the Ultimate Elite winners will be the first players to be featured on the USADOJO.COM web site in the new Sport Martial Arts Hall of Honors which will include performance videos, photos and biographies of the players. You and your team could be the first to be immortalized on the world’s largest, most visit, martial arts web site on the web today! SMA Events and The Karate Kid 2010

SMA Events, Sony Pictures, Six Flaggs and USADOJO.COM have worked together to bring The Karate Kid Challenge to Six Flags parks throughout the United States. We have worked together to produce The Karate Kid Challenge in conjunction with the upcoming movie, The Karate Kid, starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. The movie hits theaters on June 11th, 2010.

The Karate Kid Challenge contest is open to teams consisting of a karate student and a current karate instructor. The instructor must be at least 21 years of age and who has a minimum of 10 years karate training and a minimum of 1 year of teaching. The student must be between 9 and 17 years old and must currently be a student of the sensei and have sufficient training to perform the required moves listed in the Official Rules. (Both team members must be a legal resident of the 50 United States or The District of Columbia in order to participate in the contest.)
